RCHI Case Study- Quinta Monroy, Chile

The Quinta Monroy Housing Project by Elemental architects for Chile-Barrio Program is a creative housing solution sensitive to local conditions given considerable funding and capacity constraints. This particular project was developed as a pilot for a larger housing program, through which Elemental continued to design iterations of its housing projects. An architect at the Elemental office told me that after the first project the central government expanded funding for the program, and every project since has been fully built out in the initial construction phase, rather than integrating the incremental design approach.For detailed case study
